Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
A teaspoon a day in a glass of water can do wonders to protect you from a myriad of complaints, from headaches, tummy upsets, colds and the most current flu. Essentially, the vinegar can assist the acid/alkaline balance in the body, which helps with overall digestion. Think you may have eaten something “off” at dinner? We have found that a drink of apple cider vinegar eliminated those nasty symptoms when our fellow diners (who skipped the vinegar) had the usual rough ride, the next day. We have acquired a taste for this drink. Some just cannot and for them cider vinegar can be bought in capsule form at you Health Food Store.
This is a simple, easy and inexpensive supplement that I have enjoyed for years. Thank you for mentioning it. It is also wonderful if I eat too much – then I take more (maybe a tablespoon) in a little bit of warm water, and it works like a charm. It can be mixed with a little raw honey while you’re getting used to it to make it more palatable.
